New York’s biggest electronic dance music event is growing quickly, attracting more and more visitors from out of state and out of country every year. Held at Randall’s Island Park, a beautiful location covered with lush grass, Electric Zoo is one of the top music festivals that beat heads try to get to every year. For 2011, EMRG+N+SEE moves from its previous outdoor location to become an urban festival in the middle of Portland, Oregon. This tastemaker event has cutting-edge lineups, and you can expect to hear artists that are up-and-coming from the left field, offering a wide range of live music from West Coast glitch hop to acoustic folk-funk bands to dubbed out electronica and other forms of experimental sounds. And expect to dance.
The forest calls us once again. Together we will celebrate our 5th year of Enchanted Forest Gatherings! Our community has grown and so has the vision for our unique and intimate gathering. While this year will bring plenty of saucy new surprises it will still find our roots grounded in our original intentions. This is a gathering created by and for dancers and visionaries.
