The slate will be presented to member organizations for a vote, and the newly elected Board members will be announced at the meeting. More information about the voting process will be available soon.
Nichole Maher, the recently appointed CEO of the Northwest Health Foundation will be this year’s keynote speaker, and will address the work of emerging nonprofit leaders in Oregon. We’ll also be joined by State Treasurer Ted Wheeler.

We’re living in a thriller that only reality could write. Breakdown and breakthrough – death and rebirth - creative destruction writ large. As this year’s Bioneers Conference will exemplify, there’s as much cause for hope as for horror, and the ground truth is that how this story turns out is up to us. Nothing less than a step change in human evolution will do. Never has it been more important for us to exercise our vision, our agency, our solidarity and our voices. That’s what we’ll all be doing together at Bioneers 2018. The theme is “Pathways Forward,” and we’re excited to explore the paths with you.

7th Biennial NHFA Conference - Our 2019 Conference is dedicated to blending the work of the head, the hands, and the heart, in the realm of the home funeral. We will explore the spirituality inherent in our work. We will share art and ritual, learning how to better express and confront the intense emotions surrounding after-death care. - Your participation is what will drive our success, and that is why we are working harder than ever before to bring in expert voices and trainers, and to provide safe spaces for complex conversations and deep beneficial learning. There is plenty of fun and reflection to be had, but we want to make sure that you are leaving this year's conference feeling stronger, smarter, better-equipped, and more prepared to approach your work. -
