Reggae On The River 2015 - Jul 30 2015

Capping off July and welcoming August on the weekend of July 30-August 2, the 31st anniversary of Reggae On The River will grace the banks of the meandering Eel River at French’s Camp in Humboldt County, CA. The longest running reggae festival in the U.S.- and the only one in the world known simply as “Reggae”- Reggae On The River is more than just a music festival. It’s a testament to music that opens boundaries and brings people together. A celebration truly deserving of an annual pilgrimage- the 2015 edition will again represent the evolution of global reggae music with performers from the far corners of the Earth- and irie vibes for miles - all weekend long. Three and 4-day tickets are still available- as are a limited number of RV spots. If you act soon, you could go big with the new Ambassador Pass to enjoy unprecedented perks and access while supporting two Jamaican non-profits- the Alpha Boys Institute and Lil Raggamuffins Summer Camp. For those with a 4-day pass, admission begins on Thursday, July 30th and includes first dibs on camping and an extra evening of entertainment to include King Jammys, Fortunate Youth, Mr. Williamz, HIRIE, Pyrx Band, IrieFuse, Iya Terra, and others. The 3-day ticket allows access to the grounds on Friday, July 31 and highlights an epic schedule to kick off the main event with performances by Cham, Protoje & The Indiggnation, Collie Buddz, Katchafire, Stick Figure, Inna Vision, and Juce. Building on these foundations, Saturday’s massive line-up will feature Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Tarrus Riley & Blak Soil, Ce’Cile, Ghetto Youths International featuring Jo Mersa, Christopher Ellis, Black-Am-I, & Wayne Marshall; Emmanuel Jal, Alerta Kamarada, Aaradhna, and Lior Ben-Hur. Culminating the positive vibrations on Sunday, August 2nd will be worldly ambassadors: Alborosie & The Shengen Clan, Nahko and Medicine For The People, The Congos, Exco Levi, Bassekou Kouyate & Ngoni Ba, Empress Unification, and Reggae Angels. Reggae will also feature top DJs and Sound Systems, the ever-lively KidLandia, and the camping, community, and irie vibes that made Reggae On The River famous. There are more than 60 vending/ non-profit booths, and each of Reggae’s food booths are either partnered with a non-profit or solely run by a non-profit. Some of the non-profits benefitting this year will be, Heart of the Redwoods Community Hospice, Fire Departments, Beginnings, Eel River Clean-Up Project, Veterans For Peace to name just a few. Having fun while helping build community is a mantra of ROTR, so whether you are coming by way of the Ambassador pass or a regular weekend ticket, you can bring a tool to donate to the Tools For Change program- an outreach project conducted in partnership with communities in rural Burkina Faso, West Africa. To discover more about these programs, to buy tickets, or to explore the good times to be had at Reggae On The River 2015- visit the festival website at . It’s happening July 30th-August 2nd at French’s Camp, in Garberville, CA- heart of the Emerald Triangle- and your portal to a higher vibration!

Rhythms of Nature Women's Gathering 2018 - Mar 24 2018

Ready for a shift? Maybe you're ready to let yourself really shine. Maybe you've been muddling in a problem or struggle. Or, you're on the verge of a breakthrough and you're looking for clarity and support. Or...perhaps you know you're capable of more, you just don't know what the next step is. Ready? Good. Because the world needs you. It's easy to move through life on autopilot—most people do. It takes courage to explore what you can do to live more fully yourself—and as a result bring more love, light, and peace into the world in ways that feel authentic and true for you. In this retreat we'll explore the rhythms of nature, such as the egg to caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly and as it relates to our own cycles. The transformation process (the way we see it) isn't about rejecting who you are or trying to fix your imperfections. It's about connecting to where you're at and seeing what areas in your life could be more spacious and fluid. How could you be more you? How are you clipping your own wings? How could you really let your genius flow?
